Home is the ideal setting for Palliative Care. Over the last five years, we have rendered Palliative Care to scores of patients across all age groups.
It is important to have an empathetic and clear discussion with the family, about the aim of such care. This helps avoid needless anxiety and running to and from between home and hospital.
We have found that when there is clarity of purpose between the patient and home healthcare provider, things take a very smooth course.
So many of our patients have passed on peacefully in our care and the family has been invariably very grateful to us for providing comprehensive and compassionate palliative care .
All this when there is no undue running to hospital and all needs of the patient are anticipated and provided seamlessly by our doctors, nurses, caregivers and other personnel.
