After decades of working with organisations founded and led by others, I reached a point where I felt the desire to create something of my own.

I wanted to create systems and processes that were simple, logical, practical, and most importantly — worked consistently. In healthcare, where people and families are often navigating uncertainty and stress, I believed there was a need for a more organised, reliable, and compassionate approach.
Starting a venture at 57 came with its own set of challenges, but it also brought the freedom to build with experience, clarity, and purpose.
Today, at 65, I look back with immense pride and gratitude. We have created Sunburst Healthcare — an organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions at home, with strong processes, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to the people we serve.
